Due to the size of the train table (5×8) I had to get rid of my rather large desk. I’m now using a desk about half the size of my old one. But that was the requirement my wife set in order to have the train table upstairs. It’s now taking up pretty much all of the space in front of our bookshelves.
But now the Kato Unitrack loop fits! And the trains go around quite nicely. They even stop for some artsy pictures.
We made another trip to the model train store and my wife wanted this old used steam engine that looked cool. It doesn’t always work but when it does it zips around the track.
I also realized that I could take an interesting photo of my model BNSF loco with the prototype running on the tracks across the street from us in the background. Did I mention we live right next to the tracks? That might have been one of the reasons I got into model railroading.
